Lil Gotit (Alamo)
4/28/20

WHAT IT IS: Rapper/singer/songwriter Lil Gotit, née Semaja Zair Render, is the latest up-and-comer from the trap capital of Atlanta’s South Side. At just 20 years old, the self-proclaimed “Hood Baby” has quickly assumed the role of one of the next-gen stars out of the YSL circuit. Recently described by The FADER as “the Heir to Atlanta’s Rap Throne,” Lil Gotit took 2019 by storm with co-signs from the music and fashion industry. With strong support from Young Thug, whose distinct vocal style heavily influenced Gotit’s delivery, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert and his brother, Lil Keed, with whom he released early tracks like “Trap Bunkin,” Gotit has quickly amassed a solid fanbase. His latest project, Superstar Creature, showcases his matter-of-fact rhymes and the artistry that has elevated him to his present position.
