WHAT IT IS: Born and bred in Indiana, 23-year-old Delaney Bailey launched her music career by releasing her first project during her junior year at IU Bloomington,. After moving to Chicago, she released what we leave behind in 2023, amassing more than 275m career streams. Breakout track “j’s lullaby” earned a spot on The New York Times’ “Best Songs of 2022” list. On 10/25, she unveiled her latest EP, Chiaroscuro, a poignant reminder that even in the depths of pain there is always a glimmer of light to lead the way.
