WHAT IT IS: Following his gold-certified breakout hit, “Coal,” 25-year-old Texas singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Gossett is back with his new EP, Songs in the Gravel. The four-track project, which includes singles “Somewhere Between” and “Bitter Winds” in addition to two new songs, continues to propel the newcomer’s ascent. Along with writing all four songs and producing two, Gossett teamed up with Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlile) on “Somewhere Between” and Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) on “If I Had a Lover.”
