WHAT IT IS: Kentucky’s own Ole 60, a band once under the radar, soared to #1 on the Apple Music Country Album chart with Three Twenty Four, eclipsing giants like Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan. This group’s debut EP, released last August, contains a unique blend of indie country, folk and Southern rock. Standout single “smoke & a light” captured fans with its authentic vibe. Ole 60, self-described as “not your father’s country band,” thrives on TikTok, engaging fans with a mix of music and quirky humor. Their diverse sound, ranging from the introspective “insane” to the energetic “dust 2 dust,” resonates across a wide audience, marking them as a band to watch at a time when genre lines are blurring and listeners seek music that truly moves them.
