WHAT IT IS: METTE’S “Mama’s Eyes” launched her into the mainstream as the track hit #1 in the U.K. Club chart, amassing more than 3m global streams. The rising star picked up three awards at the 2023 U.K. VMAs for the single’s video, including the coveted Video of the Year nod. Her biggest artistic statement to date came with the arrival of her debut EP, METTENARRATIVE, which showcases her raw vocal talent, introspective lyricism and multifaceted artistry.
