Dillon James (Buena Vista/19 Recordings/UMG Nashville)
11/9/23

WHAT IT IS: Bakersfield-born singer-songwriter Dillon James was influenced by his city’s unique blend of rock & roll and country from an early age. After picking up a guitar at the age of 10, James began writing music as a teen, developing the country-rock-infused vocals and powerful storytelling that would define his distinct sound. His major-label debut single, “Walking Man”—written by Dillon with Paul Sikes and Paul Wrock and produced by Paul DiGiovanni and Sikes—is an autobiographical introduction to a soul-stirring talent.
