WHAT IT IS: Hailing from Chicago’s South Side, rising hip-hop artist FendiDa Rappa is best-known for her eclectic fusion of Chicago drill, juke and footwork music showcased on viral hits like “Juke Song” and “Point Me to the Slut’s.” Rappa—real name Jessica Angelique Oliver—has been professionally rapping since 2019 and gained traction with her first mixtape, Str8 From Da Raq, in 2021. She’s since dropped a series of tracks, including latest release “Point Me 2” w/Cardi B. The track, which is disrupting the Chicago hip-hop scene, went viral on TikTok and hit #1 on the iTunes hip-hop chart.
