25 YEARS OF WU
11/13/18

BY JASON HASHAWAY

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Wu-Tang Clan’s game-changing first album, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), I sat down with the estate of Ol' Dirty Bastard—a founding member of the Wu—got some info on Ol' Dirty Bastard Legacy and spoke with son YDB (Young Dirty Bastard) to get an update of all things dirty. First off, we discussed ODB getting his very own cryptocurrency.

This cryptocurrency will help to connect fans of ODB to the estate in ways unavailable before. Buying into The Dirty Universe will give fans the opportunity to get limited edition-pressings, merchandise and exclusive collectibles, all from the Brooklyn Zoo's very own.

YDB is also excited to announce he’s releasing new music. Expect that to come very soon, with the full backing of all the Wu members, as well as new production from The RZA.

Lastly, he announced Ol' Dirty Bastard Legacy will be putting on an OBD Legacy Concert in Brooklyn on 11/15—ODB's birthday. The Wu-Tang Clan members have a special presentation in store, and YDB is slated to headline. All proceeds will go to Ol' Dirty Bastard Legacy.
