WHAT IT IS: The pop duo and production team of singer/songwriters Jackson Foote and Emma Lov were performers on their own before meeting in college. They later formed Loote and signed to UMPG, where they co-wrote and co-produced “No Promises” for Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato. The song hit the Top 10 at Pop radio and went platinum in the U.S. (and double platinum globally). While working for other artists and remixing tracks by Shawn Mendes and Mike Posner, the N.Y.-based pair released their own single, the tropical-tinged pop song, “High Without Your Love,” as well as follow-up “Out of My Head,” in 2017. Those tracks totaled 80m+ combined global streams ahead of the release of current single “Your Side of the Bed” in early 2018.
