Okay, sure, the video for Benny Cassette's "Sunrise Sunset" came out last week, but we discovered it this week and it was just too good not to spotlight. Look no further to check out the clip, which proudly oozes with Southern California vibes (thanks in large part to the vibrant MacArthur Park location, skater girls and blunts).
The cumbia-inspired banger is toe-tappingly infectious, and its balmy breeziness definitely makes the underdog a contender for song of the summer. "Sunrise Sunset" is the first single off Cassette's upcoming album, Broken Hearts & Dollar Signs, which is expected out this year via Warner.
The self-published Cassette, who's new to the game as a solo performing artist, is well-known for his production and songwriting skills, having previously collaborated with Kanye West on Yeezus, as well as John Legend and Miguel.
