WHAT IT IS: The title track from the duo of Matt Friedman and Scott Mellis’ debut EP, Temporary Love, has racked up over 26m global streams on Spotify alone and earned the band spots on Yahoo! Music’s Rising series,Apple Music’s A-List Alternative playlist and multiple Spotify playlists, including the heavily followed New Music Friday, Pop Chillout and Pop Rising playlists. Ultimately, it earned them the coveted #1 position on the Best of 2016 Ultimate Indie playlist. The Brinks have also been featured on high-profile outlets, including Beats 1 and KCRW. Their new single, “Honey,” is due 6/9.
