WHAT IT IS: Brothers Theron and Timothy Thomas grew up in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and always dreamed of making it as artists. They went to Atlanta to pursue their career, and before that particular dream took off, they focused on songwriting, which led them to land cuts with Usher, Chris Brown, Jennifer Hudson and Ciara. Eventually, they scored huge hits, like “Pour It Up” by Rihanna, “We Can’t Stop” by Miley Cyrus and “I Don’t Mind” by Usher. Dr. Luke then signed the pair as artists to his label, and they’re currently enjoying a massive hit with “Locked Away,” which features Adam Levine.
