Twentieth Century Fox music publishing exec Cathy Merenda is joining Sony/ATV to lead the acquisition and retention of valued administration partnerships with film, television, broadcast and digital media companies in the U.S.
In the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Broadcast and Media Rights, she will report to Chairman and CEO Jon Platt and be based in Los Angeles.
“Her considerable expertise in music publishing and copyright administration makes her a perfect fit to engage our broadcast and media clients and position our partnerships for success,” Platt said.
Merenda spent 25 years in the Fox studio’s music division, rising to Senior Vice President, Music Publishing.
