WARBURTON GOES WORLDWIDE WITH SONY/ATV

Sony/ATV has announced the extension of a worldwide publishing deal with songwriter and musician Geoff Warburton, best known for his work with Shawn Mendes.

Warburton has co-penned a number of tracks on Mendes' first album, including the triple-platinum-certified smash "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" and, more recently, "In My Blood," which has gone to #1 at iTunes in 50 countries. The deal covers Warburton's catalog and future works.

“Geoff Warburton is an incredibly gifted writer whose songs have played a significant role in Shawn Mendes’ success around the world," says SATV U.S. Co-President Danny Strick. "We are very excited to continue our long association with him in what will be an exciting next career chapter. We've awarded him a 30-second shopping spree in the company humidor and a lifetime supply of matches."
