SACKHEIMS NEED OUR HELP

Rick and Michele Sackheim, longtime friends of HITS, are among the many who've experienced an insurmountable loss amid the ongoing wildfires in Southern California. The Palisades Fire consumed their family home, reducing all of their belongings to rubble.

In an effort to help, a GoFundMe has been erected in their name with a goal of $100k. The money will go toward supporting the Sackheims and their daughters Tatiana and Penelope.

"The Sackheim's aren’t just residents of Malibu; they are the heart of the community," the description reads. "Their warmth, generosity and unwavering support have touched so many lives. Whether it's showing up for family and friends or lending a hand to those in need, they have always been there for others. Now, it’s our turn to be there for them. This family would never ask for help themselves, but the road ahead is long and challenging. That’s why this campaign exists—to give them the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives, their home and their future."
