U.K. CHARTS: ELTON, GRACIE RULE THE ROOST

As expected, Elton John lands his ninth #1 on the Official U.K. Album Chart this week with the hits collection Diamonds, while Gracie Abrams enjoys a seventh nonconsecutive week at the top of the Singles tally with "That's So True" (Interscope).

Released in 2017, Diamonds (UMR/Island/EMI) has already spent 325 weeks in the Top 40. Its latest rise is due to the release of a super-deluxe Blu-ray and limited-edition LP, which propelled it to #6 last week.

“I’m overjoyed and want to sincerely thank all my incredible fans for their constant love and support," John said, noting that 2017 "feels like a lifetime ago."

Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet (Island) and SZA's deluxe SOS (RCA) hold at #2 and #3, respectively, while Ed Sheeran's +–=÷× (Tour Collection) (Asylum) slides 1-4 and The Weeknd's Highlights (Republic/XO) moves 8-5.

Lil Baby's WHAM (Quality Control/Motown) is the top debut, at #12, giving the rapper his fifth U.K. Top 40 album.

On the Singles roundup, Abrams nudges out ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT." (Atlantic), and BTS' Jimin rockets 64-5 with "Who," which peaked at #4 last year.

Elsewhere, SZA's "BMF" climbs 44-21 for her 15th U.K. Top 40 entry, Naughty Boy and Sam Smith’s 2013 chart-topper "La La La" reappears at #32 amid viral attention and Doechii scores her first Top 40 hit with "DENIAL IS A RIVER," new at #39.
