REGAL AT RETAIL:
TAYLOR SWIFT

We’ve pretty much run out of superlatives to describe Taylor Swift’s astoundingly great year. The Republic megastar towers above the 2024 field in U.S. streams with an eye-popping 14.8b, spent 15 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 on the album chart and sold gazillions of concert tickets. Now, she’s blown the doors off every Target store with vinyl and CD sales of her THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY (which did 368k in pure sales in its first week as a physical release) as well as blockbuster numbers for her Eras Tour Book. As far as print media goes, however, she’d prefer to draw the line at our tortured publication.
