AC/DC IS BACK IN... BALLPARKS

AC/DC is revving up for its first North American tour since 2016. The indefatigable rock outfit will play 13 Live Nation-promoted stadium shows next year, beginning 4/10 in Minneapolis and concluding 5/28 in Cleveland.

The outing ostensibly comes in support of the band's latest Columbia album, 2020's Power Up, which topped charts in 21 countries.

Although the Power Up North American Tour will hit such historic venues as the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, and Chicago's Soldier Field, it will apparently not visit the New York metro area.

Now comprised of guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bassist Chris Chaney, AC/DC played its first show in seven years in October 2023 at the Power Trip festival and then hit 25 European stadiums earlier this year.

Meanwhile, HITS has now fulfilled a lifelong dream of using the phrase "knocking me out with those American thighs" in print.
