TWO LEGENDS, NO WAITING

Industry icon Clive Davis and rock trailblazer Patti Smith assented to this freilach photo op to commemorate the latter’s receipt of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal from NYC’s Municipal Arts Society. The shindig, at Cipriano South Street, also saw medals pinned on Yoko Ono and public-art luminary Sandra Bloodworth as individuals who, like Smith, “through vision, leadership and philanthropy, have made a lasting contribution to New York City.” In related news, three members of the HITS staff have received honorable mention for moving to the West Coast.
