CLIVE, PATTI REUNITE AT GORDON PARKS GALA

Clive Davis and Patti Smith sure have come a long way together since cooking up a record deal by the din of the late, great CBGB some 50 years ago.

The pair, who we're told hadn't seen each other in a long time, reunited 5/21 at New York's Cipriani 42nd Street for the annual Gordon Parks Foundation gala, at which Smith performed.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz will be recognized as Patrons of the Arts at the annual awards dinner, which the married couple have co-chaired for a decade.

Other honorees included late Shaft star Richard Roundtree, activist/former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, artist Mickalene Thomas and former NAACP chairman Myrlie Evers-Williams, the widow of pioneering civil rights activist Medgar Evers.
