UMG is revving up to launch its third Pull Up to the Polls effort, which aims to get voters without transportation to polling places from now until Election Day, 11/5.
Working in partnership with the NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women and When We All Vote, the group’s Task Force for Meaningful Change has set a goal of ferrying 15,000 voters to the polls and registering 7,200 new ones.
Said Dominik Whitehead, NAACP SVP of Campaigns and Mobilization, “We're proud to work with UMG in ensuring that democracy works for everybody. Black voices matter, and we know that when our communities Pull up to the Polls, we’re heard.”
Beth Lynk, executive director of When We All Vote, added, "The rides we're making available will ensure thousands of voters can Pull Up to the Polls ready to show up and show out to make their voices heard this election."
For those in need, rideshare codes are available at @WhenWeAllVote, @NAACP and @NCNW_hq.
