On 10/26 Goldenvoice and Framework will present Dom Dolla at downtown Los Angeles' historic Sears building, the first time a concert will take place there.
Built in 1927, the art deco exemplar will provide the basis for Framework’s nontraditional modus operandi, which has included shows at downtown's Union Station (1907) and Pershing Square (1866).
“One of the most important things we look for in a venue is character," said Framework founder Kobi Danan. "Can we complement the history or personality of the space while breathing a fresh breath of life into it? We want our guests to walk into a venue and stop for a moment to think to themselves, ‘Woah.’ The landmark Sears building accomplishes just that.”
The open-air concert will follow rising EDM star Dolla's two sold-out shows at L.A. State Historic Park this weekend (10/19-20), which will see 40,000+ fans in attendance—and his latest release, “Cave” w/Tove Lo (Three Six Zero/Columbia). Tickets go on sale today at noon PT here.
Dolla is booked by Wasserman Music’s Ben Shprits (North America) and Dave Black Grove (U.K.) and managed by Intergalactic Fantastic’s James Fava.
