SUMMITING THE GRAMMY MUSEUM

Ahead of taking over L.A.’s Kia Forum for three nights this fall, Experts Only/Darkroom’s John Summit brought the dance party to the Grammy Museum for a special performance on 9/12. The set featured a number of tracks from Summit’s Comfort in Chaos, a possible Grammy contender in this year’s Dance/Electronic category, and was preceded by a Q&A, moderated by KCRW’s Jason Bentley. Seen wishing they could “Go Back” to a time when HITS didn’t exist are (l-r) front row: Darkroom’s Becca Wachter; Tori Cacha; back row: Metatone’s Parker Cohen, Darkroom’s Kaiya Nyasha, Metatone’s Shailee Ben-David, Summit, Darkroom’s Layne Cooperstein, Justin Lubliner and Oliver Jordan, and Metatone’s Holt Harmon.
