It's round three of a brand-new feature on the agents who work behind the scenes to help get your favorite tours up and running. Do they want to deal with us? We're pretty sure that's a no. But ready or not, here comes...
Becky Gardenhire: Co-Head, WME Nashville
A true leader and pioneer in the male-dominated country-music world, Gardenhire is both the first woman to be named co-head of an agency in Nashville and to run the company’s weekly sales meeting. Oh, and she has also assisted in booking many of the top-grossing country tours across the globe.
Having been at WME for more than 20 years, she oversees a client roster that includes no less than Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Rascal Flatts, Jordan Davis, Sara Evans, BRELAND and Ingrid Andress. She is a consistent presence on industry power-player lists and in 2018 was named CMA’s Agent of the Year.
Gardenhire is heavily involved in WME’s foundation, helps lead the agency’s annual Walk the Walk Day and is active in WME Nashville’s Diversity Group and Women of Endeavor. She also serves on multiple boards, including those of the Academy of Country Music, the W.O. Smith Music School and We Are Giant.
And now, two questions:
Name a music figure you admire.
Dolly Parton. She’s a class act all around.
You can go back in time and see any concert. Who would you see, and which year?
Johnny Cash, any year.
