Myke Towers returned with his fifth album, La Pantera Negra (Warner Music Latina), on 8/22. The S10-repped hitmaker preceded the drop with the release of two singles from the 20-track project: "La Primera Vez" f/NTG and "ADIVINO" f/Bad Bunny.
In support of the album, Towers will embark on a Live Nation trek throughout North America, the La Pantera Negra Tour, which sets sail 10/2 in Fairfax, Virginia, at the EagleBank Arena. The 18-date run ends 11/3 at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. Other stops along the way include Boston, Denver, Brooklyn and Miami.
Towers is up for a 2024 MTV VMA in the Best Latin category for his viral hit, "LALA." Taken from 2023's La Vida Es Una, the track is rapidly approaching a billion Spotify streams following its dominance on both the Latin Airplay and Global Excl. US charts.
The four-time Latin Grammy nominee received four nominations for the 2024 Latin American Music Awards, including Song of the Year, Global Latin Song of the Year and Best Song: Urban for "LALA" and Best Collaboration: Urban for “Borracho y Loco” with Yandel.
Towers' star continues to rise (as ours fizzles, crashes and burns). Listen to La Pantera Negra below.
