U.K. CHARTS: EMINEM AND SABRINA REMAIN AT #1

Eminem notches a third consecutive week atop the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) (Interscope), while over on the singles roundup, Sabrina Carpenter fends off competition from labelmate Chappell Roan to remain at #1.

Elsewhere on the album chart, Taylor Swift’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (EMI) is up two to #2, and BRAT (Atlantic) by Charli xcx is lifted three to #3. The latter was boosted this week by the arrival of a remix of “Guess” with Billie Eilish.

Roan achieves a new career best with The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess (Island), which moves up three to #4 in its 16th week on the chart. HIT ME HARD AND SOFT (Interscope) by Eilish is also on the rebound, jumping three to #5.

Despite sitting at #1 midweek, Blur’s Live at Wembley Stadium (Parlophone) settles for today’s highest new entry, at #6. British singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins is new at #8 with his debut, hi, my name is insecure. (Island).

Swedish metal outfit Ghost, which was also a contender for #1 midweek, lands at #10 with Rite Here Rite Now (Loma Vista), the soundtrack to the concert film of the same name.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” (Island) holds onto #1 for a fifth nonconsecutive week. With 5.3m plays, it’s the U.K.’s most-streamed track of the past seven days.

Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” (Island) reaches a new peak, at #2, as does “Stargazing” (RCA) by Myles Smith, at #4. Dasha’s “Austin” (Warner Records) is in the Top 5 for the first time, at #5.

“Kisses” (Atlantic) by BL3SS, CamrinWatsin and bbyclose is up six to #7. Charli xcx has two tracks on the rise, with “360” up six to #12 and “Apple” ascending nine to #14.
