SPOTIFY'S SONGS OF SUMMER PLAYLIST HEATS UP
Spotify has updated its 2024 Songs of Summer playlist, providing a delicious cornucopia for the pool parties, volleyball games and BBQs we don't get invited to.
In addition to the original 30—among them, Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," Tommy Richman's “MILLION DOLLAR BABY," Central Cee & Lil Baby's "BAND4BAND" and "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" by Shaboozey, who apparently didn't get the all-caps memo—five new "wild-card" songs have been added to the list: “Move” by Adam Port, Stryv, Keinemusik, Orso & Malachiii, “HOT TO GO!” by Chappell Roan, “360” by Charli xcx, “Si Antes te Hubiera Conocido” by KAROL G and “Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter.
The wild-card picks, selected by Spotify's global editors, have been released since the initial predictions were made or are seeing a spike in global streams.
