UPDATE: ZACH'S BAR IS OPEN

UPDATE: Zach Bryan's The Great American Bar Scene (Warner) racked up nearly 40m U.S. streams on July Fourth, its first full day of release.

With just one day in the marketplace, the intoxicating release lands a Top 15 debut on this week's chart with 35k. The new album joins two other Bryan titles in the Top 15.

Four songs from Bar Scene are currently tippling in the Spotify U.S. Top 15, while two cuts are mixing it up on the Apple Music Top 10. "28" and "American Nights" are so far leading the pack.

Just in time to soundtrack your patriotic BBQ with melancholy reverie, Warner's Zach Bryan has delivered his new album, The Great American Bar Scene. The 19-song set features guest appearances by Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and Bryan's fellow Oklahoma troubadour John Moreland; it includes previously released cuts "Pink Skies" and "Purple Gas."

You can stream the album right here and now, but you'll have to wait until 10/10 for the vinyl edition.

We're told that Bryan chose 21 of his favorite bars in the U.S. and Canada and allowed fans patronizing these fine drinking establishments to be the first to hear the new music. To simulate the experience, we're setting up a dartboard and cracking open a bottle of Old Grand Dad. Cheers, America.
