WALLEN'S TELLING "LIES" ON 7/5

As an Independence Day treat, Morgan Wallen is giving a proper release to the song "Lies Lies Lies," which came out only on YouTube in March. The track arrives 7/5 from Big Loud/Mercury/Republic in tandem with Wallen's debut at London's Hyde Park the day before.

Written by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross and Chris Tompkins and produced by Joey Moi, "Lies Lies Lies," was recorded 12/5/2023 at Abbey Road Studios, two days after Wallen played a sold-out gig at London's O2. It has since been performed live on 16 occasions, most recently last weekend at Denver's Empower Field.

Wallen will launch a limited "Lies Lies Lies" T-shirt through his online merch store on 7/5 and will donate $20k to support London Youth Choirs via his Morgan Wallen Foundation.

Even as his most recent album, One Thing at a Time, remains at #3 on the HITS Top 50 nearly 16 months after its release, Wallen is also in the conversation for "song of the summer" thanks to his Post Malone collaboration, "I Had Some Help," which has topped streaming and airplay charts.
