TAYLOR TAKES LONDON, GLASTO GETS STREAMY

BACK IN THE TAYLORVERSE: She may croon “So long, London” on THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT, but Taylor Swift bellowed "Hello again" over the weekend with the first three of eight nonconsecutive Eras Tour dates at London's Wembley Stadium.

Last night (6/23) featured a double whammy of surprise appearances by Gracie Abrams, who performed her duet with Swift, "us," with Tay for the first time, and Travis Kelce, who donned a tuxedo and top hat for a flight of fancy with Swift's dance crew. Could a cover of Taco's "Puttin' on the Ritz" be far behind?

The shows drew the expected cavalcade of celebrities, including members of the British royal family, Sir Paul McCartney and Cate Blanchett, among others. Swift will return to Wembley for five more sold-out shows 8/15-17 and 19-20.

According to a press release, Tay is “the biggest-selling female artist to ever perform at Wembley Stadium" and "her eight-night run sets a new record for the longest residency of a solo artist." Michael Jackson played seven nights at the old Wembley during his Bad tour in 1988. Take That did eight nights in June and July of 2011.

GLASTO GOES LIVE: With Swift and The Eras Tour heading to Dublin this coming weekend, the U.K. live-music spotlight will be firmly on the Glastonbury festival.

Dua Lipa and Coldplay’s headlining performances will be the first at the legendary gathering to be livestreamed globally on BBC.com. Lipa fans around the world can tune into the BBC Studios-produced stream 6/28 at 5pm ET; Coldplay’s set will be online the next day at 4:45. This is the first appearance for Lipa on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, whereas Coldplay is returning for a fifth time, its first since 2016.
