Rob Light has headed CAA’s music department since 1998; during that time, he has presided over the most decorated, consistently innovative division in the agency world—earning countless “Agent of the Year” laurels and advancing the careers of superstar and fledgling clients alike. He now becomes managing director as three esteemed colleagues jointly assume oversight of music. And he surely wishes he were attending a concert instead of contending with our shitshow.
