The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) has rolled out the schedule for its annual Indie Week conference, which includes a keynote address from Grammy-winning artist Lecrae. The festivities kick off Monday (6/10) with the 13th annual Libera Awards at Gotham Hall; the main event will transpire 6/11-13 at the InterContinental New York Times Square.
Indie Week includes more than 60 panels and workshops and roughly 1,800 meetings. Lecrae (pictured in black) will join Reservoir CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi as a keynote speaker, while panels will broach a wide array of topics, including advocacy, artificial intelligence, A&R, brands, business, catalog, streaming and sync.
"A2IM Indie Week is our flagship event," A2IM President/CEO Dr. James Burgess said. "This year promises to be an unparalleled gathering of the brightest minds and talents in the international independent sector. With an extensive lineup of panels, workshops, roundtables, talks and curated meetings, the conference provides a platform for industry leaders to connect, collaborate and innovate year after year."
A list of confirmed speakers and panelists as well as a detailed itinerary can be found here. It's too bad there's not a panel on "How To Fail Miserably"; we'd be a shoo-in.
