LIVING LEGENDS TO HONOR HARVEY THIS FALL

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. will receive the Chairman Award from the Living Legends Foundation during a 10/4 gala at Taglyan Cultural Complex in Los Angeles.

“We are profoundly proud of his leadership role and the outstanding work at the Recording Academy and his commitment to MusiCares, the two leading music organizations in the world," said Living Legends Foundation Chairman David C. Linton.

Other honorees this year include broadcaster Donnie Simpson, who will receive the Jerry Boulding Radio Award; attorney L. Londell McMillan, who will receive the Kendall A. Minter Entertainment Advocate Award; Culture Creators founder/CEO Joi Brown, who will receive the first Impact Player Award; publicist Chris Chambers, who will receive the Media Executive Award; record label executive/radio broadcaster Mike Kelly, who will be presented with the Music Executive Award; and B. Lifted Up! founder/CEO Gwen Franklin, who will receive the Mike Bernardo Female Executive Award.
