NOISEMAKERS:
A SIZZLING SET

In our latest roundup, we present eight rising professionals from various parts of the biz whose dedication and effort make their superiors look good.

This week's entrants will also find their faces in our latest mag. Thankfully, they can lament this mortifying experience from the comfort of their air-conditioned spaces.

Todd Palmerton
VP of Talent Event Creation & Management, Wasserman Music

Palmerton orchestrated an elaborate Tom Petty tribute at ACL Fest 2017, directing skydivers adorned with Texas flags to dive during a live-cast of “Free Falling” just days after the artist’s passing. The emotional display united 75k fans in song and tears. Lately, he’s been designing events such as Jack Harlow’s Gazebo Festival in Louisville and Diplo’s Run Club in San Francisco and Seattle, combining music with marathon runs. Though he masterminds memorable public spectacles, few know Palmerton’s own musical roots trace back to band camp. Our skills are limited to the triangle.

Sydney
Feinberg
Director, Media, Republic Records

Feinberg treasures having worked with the Jonas Brothers and booking a “24 Hours with” feature for Vogue as well as helping secure Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s U.S. late-night debut following the resurgence of “Murder on the Dancefloor.” She’s now driving promotions for acts like DYLAN while working on Anitta’s U.S. tour and Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour. She was also recently excited for the first Republic Sound Bites event, a first-of-its-kind content creator event. Feinberg’s first concert was Gwen Stefani. We’re banned from most venues.

Rotem Azariya
Commercial Marketing Director, Virgin Music Group

Azariya’s career has been packed with high-energy moments, including running around NYC with Sofi Tukker and their dancers for flash-mob-style playbacks (in collaboration with Spotify and Peloton). She’s now gearing up for Sofi’s album BREAD, due 8/23, promoting St. Vincent’s latest release, All Born Screaming and managing the commercial marketing for Clairo’s independent debut, Charm, dropping on 7/12. When she’s not feeding the marketing maw, Azariya channels her passion for gastronomy into her food-focused Instagram, @ro_tummy. We’ve been known to burn toast.

Parker Stacey
Digital Marketing & Artist Development, Sony Music Nashville

From Kane Brown’s headlining Stagecoach 2023 set to attending Premio Lo Nuestro to support Kane’s collab with Carin León, Stacey’s had quite a year. He’s now working on the rollout for Megan Moroney’s sophomore album, Am I Okay?— its lead track, “No Caller ID,” set the record for country debut streams (U.S.) by a woman—and popularizing Brown’s presence on platforms like Twitch and Discord. Additionally, strategizing Restless Road’s debut album keeps him energized. Stacey is a die-hard Survivor fan. If he can withstand us, he can survive anything.

Vincenza Conticchio
Senior Director Creative/Visual Content, Interscope Records

Among other career highlights, Conticchio led creative and vision for Machine Gun Kelly’s SNL performance and the movie rollout for the MGK-starring Downfalls High. Recently, she developed the visual concept for MGK x Trippie Redd’s Genre; sadboy and continues to coordinate the visuals for Yo Gotti’s label, including GloRilla’s Ehhthing Ehhthing. She also worked on rollout for Moneybagg Yo’s SPEAK NOW and 42 Duggs’ project, due this summer. Conticchio went into labor right after shooting a video on her due date. We need a nap just thinking about it.

Henry Bishop

Sr. Director of A&R, BMG

Bishop was thrilled to ink Porter Robinson, whom he’d admired since his teens, to BMG and to celebrate Bebe Rexha’s Coachella performance. He’s also played a pivotal role in extending the company’s collaboration with Riot Games and securing deals with LEGO and Too Lost. Now, he’s focused on new albums by Jamie Miller and Rexha, and has a busy year ahead with clients like Freddie Dredd, Livingston, SXMPRA, Sueco, NGHTMRE, SAINt JHN and MGMT, among others. Bishop is a skilled chess strategist, though he enjoys an unfair advantage with that name.

Desireé Zapata
Director of Marketing, EMPIRE

Zapata has steered multiple R&B acts to success during her tenure at EMPIRE, including Eric Bellinger, whose first solo Grammy nomination—for album New Light—was a career highlight. Currently, she’s crafting the marketing strategy for Kxllswxtch, celebrating his freshly achieved gold status and preparing for his new album, BITTER SWEET, slated for release this summer. Zapata once drummed up excitement on the America’s Got Talent stage with her high school girl group. We, meanwhile, were picked last for everything.

Addison Nunes
Director, Data & Analytics, Warner Music Nashville

Nunes’ career at WMN began with a serendipitous twist: On her first day, she discussed Cody Johnson, whom she’d seen perform for $10 years earlier; she has since watched him ascend to headline Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, earn 17 RIAA certifications, notch #1 Country radio hits and much more. She’s presently deepening her understanding of fan demographics as the team gears up for CMA Fest. Nunes holds an American Farmer Degree from the Future Farmers of America. We couldn’t even grow a weed plant.
