At a press conference at Miami's Kaseya Center on Wednesday, Miami-Dade County Commission Vice Chairman Anthony Rodriguez, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau President/CEO David Whitaker and Univision Television Networks Group President Ignacio Meyer announced the 25th Latin Grammy Awards will return to Miami in 2024.
The awards show will be held at Kaseya Center on Thursday, 11/14 and broadcast on Univision, Galavision and VIX.
The 25th anniversary of the awards ceremony returns to Miami for the first time since 2020—that show was held without an audience due to the pandemic. The last proper Latin Grammy ceremony that took place in Miami was in 2003. The 2023 Latin Grammy Awards were held in Seville, Spain.
"We are excited to bring to life the landmark 25-year celebration of the Latin Grammys from the city we call home—the city where Hispanic culture has flourished as a driving force of influence and impact globally,” said Meyer.
Latin Grammy Week events taking place throughout Miami-Dade County include Leading Ladies of Entertainment, the Best New Artist Showcase, Special Awards Presentation, Nominee Reception, Person of the Year and the Premiere Ceremony.
Additional key dates in preparation to The Biggest Night in Latin Music include:
• 7/24-8/5: First Round of Voting
• 9/17: Nominations Announcement
• 9/27–10/10: Final Round of Voting
