Feid, Peso Pluma, Shakira
UML’s Feid and Double P/Prajin Parlay’s Peso Pluma lead the Latin American Music Awards nominations, which were announced by Univision on Tuesday. Both global breakthroughs earned 12 noms, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Collaboration of the Year.
Rimas-repped acts follow—Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera logged 11 nods; KAROL G earned nine. Sony Latin’s Shakira is also competing in nine categories, followed by música Mexicana groups Eslabon Armado and Fuerza Regida, with eight nominations each. Other acts garnering multiple noms include Carin León, Rauw Alejandro, Young Miko, Myke Towers and Bizarrap. See all the nominations here.
The sixth annual Latin AMAs will air live for the second consecutive year on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión and will be available for the first time on ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service.
The event will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 4/25 at 7pm ET. This year’s show, celebrating the theme “We Speak Música,” will be co-hosted by Thalia, Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce.
