Two new singles, two syncs and a viral sensation populate the Shazam USA Top 100’s Biggest Movers list.
Following the simple instructions of “just add Drake,” 4batz & Drake’s “act ii: date @ 8 (remix)” (4batz/OVO) is the week’s biggest mover, just ahead of Ariana Grande’s second single from eternal sunshine, “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” (Republic).
Aystar’s 2018 “Kop That Shit” is not only getting U.S. listeners to point their phones at the TV during Netflix’s The Gentlemen, it’s also heating up in the U.K., where it’s this week’s greatest gainer.
Two other tracks doing well across the Atlantic and stateside are Michael Marcagi’s “Scared to Start” (Warner), which jumped 44-18 in the U.K. and debuted at 65 in the U.S., and TikTok sensation Dasha’s “Austin” (Version III).
And with Kung Fu Panda 4 topping the nation’s box office, Shazammers are learning that it’s Tenacious D covering the Britney Spears hit “…Baby One More Time” (Back Lot Music).
