UTA has welcomed Dina Marto to the agency as an executive in the music division. She'll be based in the Atlanta office and report to UTA Atlanta partner/co-Head Rob Gibbs.
Marto spent seven years on ATL rapper T.I.'s management team and helped propel his expediTIously podcast to #1 on Apple Podcasts. She also worked for L.A. Reid at Island Def Jam, where she served as A&R coordinator for albums by Jeezy, Nas, Rick Ross, Janet Jackson and LL COOL J, among others.
Before joining UTA, Marto founded and led Twelve Music & Studios, which included clients like Grammy-winning songwriter Theron Thomas and producer Polow Da Don as well as Epic, Maybach Music Group, Empire Distribution and more. Needless to say, her network is vast.
As Gibbs noted, "Dina's deep connections in the city’s music scene will undoubtedly open doors and create new opportunities for our clients, further solidifying our position as the leading talent agency in the region."
Reports there's a banner reading "welcome to Atlanta, where the players play" hanging above her office door cannot be confirmed at this time.
