Drake has finally let the Dogs out and it’s barking its way to #1 at iTunes and Apple Music this Flipover Friday.
Drake’s For All the Dogs (OVO/Republic) sits at #1 on the sales and streaming charts with nine Dog tracks leading Apple Music songs. "Virginia Beach" is #1, followed by "Calling For You" and "Amen." He has a dozen tracks in the Top 20.
The Top 10 at iTunes is packed with other new arrivals led by Old Dominion’s fifth studio set, Memory Lane (Three Up Three Down/Columbia Nashville) at #2 and followed by another release out of Music City, Darius Rucker’s eighth solo album, Carolyn’s Boy (Capitol Nashville), at #3.
Natalie Grant’s Seasons (Curb) spices up #4 while Kirk Franklin’s Father’s Day (Fo Yo Soul/RCA) celebrates at #5.
Rhino’s repackaging of Van Halen’s 5150, OU812 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge as The Collection II is good enough for #6. Sufjan Stevens’ Javelin (Asthmatic Kitty) is tossed to #7; Roger Waters’ The Dark Side of the Moon Redux (SGB/Cooking Vinyl) orbits #8; and Colbie Caillat’s Along the Way (Blue Jean Baby) makes a tiny dance to #9.
Jessie Murph & Jelly Roll’s “Wild Ones” (Columbia) hits #1 at iTunes songs where seven versions of Jung Kook & Jack Harlow’s “3D” occupy #2-8. JENNIE's “You & Me” (YG/Interscope) debuts at #9.
After Drake, Junior’s $AD BOYZ 4 LIFE II (Warner Music Latina), released on Thursday, is the top new arrival at Apple Music, sitting at #3.
Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s Voir Dire (Tan Cressida/ALC/Warner) is the only other new arrival in the Top 30 at both Apple Music and iTunes.
