Drake won't be releasing For All the Dogs on 9/22 after all. According to an X update from the OVO Sound/Republic star, the album will now arrive on 10/6.
He made the announcement on Friday night (9/15), explaining, "Okay my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show." Evidently, Drake's schedule for his joint run with 21 Savage, the It's All a Blur Tour, is preventing him from wrapping up For All the Dogs. He added that it was "only right" to finish the trek and release the album later.
Drake at least satiated his dogs with a new single, "Slime You Out" f/SZA, released 9/15. It marks the first time the two have collaborated on a song. Listen below.
