STING & SHAGGY ROCKED ONE FINE DAY

The inaugural One Fine Day Festival—headlined, hosted and curated by Sting and Shaggy—took place at The Mann Center in Philly’s Fairmont Park Saturday (9/9).

Presented by Martin Kierszenbaum’s Cherrytree Music Company in cooperation with Live Nation Philadelphia, the event, which drew more than 7,000 fans, boasted performances by Thundercat, Koffee, G Love and Special Sauce, Tank and the Bangas, Kes, Flor de Toloache and Giordana Angi. One Fine Day also earned some big TV looks.

Sting and Shaggy wrapped up the evening by trading renditions of their hits and dueting on reggae songs like Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” and Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue.” Thundercat and Kes joined in on a rendition of “Every Breath You Take" by The Police.

Speaking of which, we hear that with every breath Martin takes, he's increasingly glad we weren't there.
