DRAKE'S DOGS GET A RELEASE DATE

Drake's eighth album, For All the Dogs (OVO/Republic), finally has a release date after weeks of false hope and speculation. The self-appointed "Champagne Papi" revealed the official date via Instagram on Wednesday (9/6), writing, "FOR ALL THE DOGS SEPTEMBER 22." The post was accompanied by a vintage video of his father, Dennis Graham (aka Cousin Dennis), singing a blues tune with a spirited backing band.

Drake first teased the project in July during a stop on his It's All a Blur Tour, promising fans it would arrive in roughly "two weeks." While his timeline was a little off, Drake devotees can now breathe a sigh of relief as For All the Dogs is indeed coming soon. That reminds us, we need to let Fido out. While we do that, check out Drake's announcement below.
