HIP-HOP AT 50: GOODIES UPON GOODIES

In honor of hip-hop's 50th birthday, eBay and KIRPA celebrity auction house are offering fans the chance to bid on 50+ collectibles from the likes of Goodie Mob, dead prez, DJ Drama, EPMD and the late Lil Keed. Items include the gladiator suits Goodie Mob wore during a 2012 performance on The Voice.

"I don't want to say they were costumes because it cheapens the integrity,” Goodie Mob member CeeLo tells us. “They’re exclusive from the performance. We only wore them one time. They have a great deal of sentimental value for me because I’m an advocate for uniformity. The other brothers in the group, not so much. We have always likened ourselves to the Village People, and I mean that figuratively in a way where everybody had their own unique personality. When you make a fashion statement, it’s who you are.”

Other goodies (pun intended) include dead prez's “Hip Hop” music video treatment, DJ Drama’s platinum plaque for Jack Harlow’s single “WHAT’S POPPIN,” EPMD’s Detroit Pistons sneakers and autographed Nike Air Max Uptempo 95 sneakers from Lil Keed.

The auction can be found here. The only thing people will give us money for is to go away.
