TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

New tracks by Peso Pluma and Young Thug are racing up the Shazam USA Top 100, and we’re seeing a hunger for songs used in Season 2 of The Bear.

Two vintage cuts setting the tone for Hulu/FX’s Chicago restaurant drama have thumbs wagging. The week’s Biggest Mover, Refused’s 1998 “New Noise” (Epitaph), returns to The Bear after a placement on its first season. Also making the Top 5 Biggest Movers is Neil Finn & Eddie Vedder’s “Throw Your Arms Around Me,” from Bloodlines’ 2013 collection of songs by Hunters & Collectors. Bear tracks by R.E.M. and Bruce Hornsby are in the Top 10 Biggest Gainers.

Pluma’s “Lady Gaga” (Double P/Prajin Parlay) leads the new releases getting Shazammers to point their phones at speakers, followed by Thug f/Drake’s “Oh U Went” (Young Stoner Life/Atlantic).

The Jets (the Tongan family band from the ’80s, not the football team Aaron Rodgers is trying to take to the playoffs) see “You Got It All” (Geffen) lift off after a sync in Netflix’s The Perfect Find.

“So Hard So Hot” (Skint/BMG), the lead single from Alison Goldfrapp’s solo debut, leads the Biggest Gainers list in the U.K.
