Gunna’s streaming sensation “fukumean” leads the Biggest Movers on the Shazam USA Top 100. New singles by Doja Cat and Lauv also get some attention.
“fukumean” (Young Stoner Life/300) not only tops Apple Music’s songs chart, it’s the Biggest Mover among Shazam users. Other new tracks getting phones pointed at speakers are “Steal the Show” (Disney), Lauv’s song from the Pixar film Elemental, and Doja Cat’s “Attention” (Kemosabe/RCA).
The new season of Netflix’s Black Mirror gets thumbs waggin’ for two songs from the '70s: Melanie’s 1971 “People in the Front Row” (Buddha/Legacy) and “Bright Eyes” (Columbia), Art Garfunkel’s contribution to the 1978 film Watership Down.
The Melanie track leads the way in the U.K., where “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” Peggy Gou’s first single for XL, is flying up the Shazam chart.
