Metallica has unveiled the title track of its forthcoming 12th studio album, 72 Seasons, news of which coincides with the announcement that the band will co-headline the giant Indio rock fest Power Trip in October.
A 7½-minute opus that opens the new record, “72 Seasons” is the fourth advance offering from the set.
The song is available to stream and download and comes with preorders of 72 Seasons, which Blackened Recordings will release on 4/14. It’s the first new Metallica studio album since 2016’s Hardwired… To Self-Destruct. Crank it up below and do a little headbanging on company time. You've earned it.
