FUN FUN FUN WITH THE BEACH BOYS

The Recording Academy is celebrating The Beach Boys' Lifetime Achievement Award with a star-studded event dubbed "A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys," which coincides with the legendary group's 60th anniversary. Taking place 4/9 at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre, it will play host to the likes of Beck, Brandi Carlile, Michael McDonald, John Legend, Weezer and Charlie Puth, who will perform some of The Beach Boys' greatest hits. CBS will televise the festivities.

The current iteration of The Beach Boys—Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks—will also be in attendance. Drew Carey, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Jam, Elton John, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr., Bruce Springsteen and John Stamos will be among the special guests.

The career-spanning set will feature the '60s classics "Good Vibrations," "In My Room," "Don't Worry Baby," "Sloop John B," "God Only Knows," "Surfer Girl," "Do You Wanna Dance," "Surfin' U.S.A./Fun Fun Fun" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice."

Beginning at 5pm PT/8pm ET, the special will not only be broadcast on CBS but also stream live and on demand via Paramount+, with a one-hour version to air on MTV. For more information, head here. We'll be in our room, as usual.
