PARAMOUNT, MTV PLAN A MUSIC SHOWCASE

Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios have partnered for Paramount Music's first showcase, which will spotlight emerging and underrepresented artists. Three winners will ultimately get the opportunity to perform for influential figures in the music and media businesses.

Said Bruce Gillmer, president of music, music talent, programming & events for Paramount and chief content officer, music, for Paramount+, "Fostering and helping develop the next generation of talent and creators has always been embedded in the Paramount culture.”

Hailed as the first of its kind, the showcase—curated by Paramount Music creative and production teams in partnership with its Office of Global Inclusion—is scheduled to take place this fall in New York City.

Submissions are now open here. Applicants must supply a sample of their work for consideration. (And we promise, nobody from HITS will apply.)
