NOLAN JOINS APG AS PREZ, GLOBAL MARKETING & SYNC

Former Motown EVP Brian Nolan has joined Mike Caren's Artist Partner Group (APG) as president of Global Marketing & Synchronization.

Nolan will oversee all label marketing, sales & streaming, artist development and synchronization, while focusing on breaking artists, marketing optimization, expanding business internationally, engaging brand and sync partnerships, recruiting top talent and serving on APG's executive leadership team.

During his six-year tenure at UMG, Nolan ascended to the executive leadership team at Motown and led marketing for the label. Among the brand partnerships and campaigns he secured include multiple deals for Lil Baby, Halsey's pact with Beats By Dre and Migos partnerships with Mountain Dew and the NBA on TNT.

“I am so fired up to join APG and grateful to Mike for this opportunity,” says Nolan. “APG’s model and vision redefine what it means to be a partner with the artist. Coming on board with this team, I will be relentless in our pursuit of this goal so that our artists can achieve their dreams, while avoiding HITS editors at all costs.”
