U.K. AGENCY ACT TO WATCH: MASTER PEACE (WME)
12/7/22

London rapper Master Peace blends indie, rap and rock for his own unique sound. His live agent at WME, David Bradley, explains: “Sonically, it’s like a mix of Blur, Bloc Party, Skepta, The Streets and Nirvana, all with a unique twist that sets him apart from anything coming out of the U.K. currently.” Signed to EMI’s PMR Records, the artist has released a collaboration with The Streets, “Wrong Answers Only,” which arrived earlier this year, as well as two EPs and a string of singles.

Bradley joined the team immediately after hearing Master Peace’s music. “[PMR Records founder] Daniel [Parmar] called me up and said, ‘Hey, we’ve got something we’d like to play you.’ He didn’t really give me any details; I went by their office and by the time they’d finished playing the first track, I was like, ‘What do I need to do? I have to be the agent.’” Master Peace’s manager, Felix Morton, was in the room; they shared a vision. Bradley met Peace and the deal was done. “It looks like he’s going to be a very explosive live prospect,” he adds. “I’m very excited about him.”

Going forward, Master Peace is gearing up to release a new EP, which Bradley describes as “an explosive record that sets the tone perfectly for what to expect from his live performances.” There are plans for a headline tour in the new year and a few key cultural events throughout the summer. “I have a feeling that things will develop rapidly for Peace once this project has been released,” Bradley concludes.
